Mal Cameron

Voice Over Artist

Mal Cameron is a voiceover artist and performer based in New Hampshire.

Thanks for visiting my website.

I record in my home studio located in southern New Hampshire, which allows me to keep my costs down, and give you, the client, a quick turn-around of voice projects. If needed, there are also several commercial recording studios in my area.

My studio recording equipment includes:

  • RODE NT-1A and HEIL microphones
  • TASCAM US-2x2 mixer
  • MacBook Pro w/OS X (10.11.6 - "El Capitan")
  • Garage Band software (version 10.1.2)

My preference is for voice-only projects, which fall in the middle-aged or senior voice range. Final voice files can be delivered via email or CD and as .mp3 or .aiff files.

TRAINING:
I am a graduate of the Master Class Program from Such A Voice training in Burlington, VT.

Clients include the University of Utah, the New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute, New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR), and a variety of projects through Voice123.

HISTORY:
I began my voice career in radio broadcasting, with several years as an on-air personality and program director.  As a "western-style" square dance caller and entertainer, I traveled throughout the northeast for many years.

I am now retired after many years as an educator and planetarium narrator for The McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center in Concord, NH. That experience has led to my regular guest appearances as a "Sky Guy"  expert for New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR), as well as other radio stations in the area, along with my public multi-media presentations about astronomy and space subjects.

For many years I have also been a director and character actor in New Hampshire community theater productions.

I would love to be a part of your next voice project!
